In 2022, T.E.L.F launched the Talent Search Initiative, a groundbreaking project aimed at identifying and nurturing young football talents in Kakamega County and beyond. This initiative addresses the challenges faced by young players, such as lack of access to training facilities and mentorship. The first Talent Search Tournament saw participation from over 300 teams, leading to the formation of the Elijah Lidonde Football Development Center (FDC). This annual event has become a cornerstone in the foundation's efforts to elevate football standards in Kenya, providing young players with the training and exposure needed to reach their full potential.
